WHERE ARE THE TEST PREP MATERIALS?
GERMAN-MASONTOWN PUBLIC LIBRARY IS NO LONGER PURCHASING TEST PREP BOOKS.
WHY?
• These books are very expensive and the library cannot afford to stock a complete selection of
practice materials for many different scholastic and career tests
• Because tests are updated and changed frequently, the practice books soon become obsolete. In
fact, most scholastic and career prep tests are revised yearly.
• These test preparation practice books are basically workbooks; if one person writes in the book, it is
worthless to anyone else
WHAT IS THE ALTERNATIVE?
German-Masontown Public Library now offers GALE TESTING AND EDUCATION REFERENCE CENTER.
This Internet resource is accessed through the library’s home page www.germaslibrary.org and offers
practice materials and study help for SAT, ACT, GED, ASVAB, job and career tests as well as helpful
information for finding a job.
This site is constantly updated and is absolutely free.
You don’t even have to visit the library to use this valuable resource since GALE TESTING AND
EDUCATION REFERENCE CENTER can be accessed from your home computer.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
